Semiconductor Fabrication Training Program - 

Lab instrument

Technician training and experiential learning focused on semiconductor fabrication with varied college students:

  • Offer a 4-week certificate training program to prepare students for chip manufacturing careers

  • Strong industry oversight of curricular components including: hand-tool basics, mechanical and vacuum systems, math, electrical basics, chemical and gases, and industry knowledge
  • Industry and faculty mentoring via office-hours, resume writing help, job hunting tips, and career pathways

  • Certificate of Completion


Semiconductor Fabrication Training Program 


Applications for the Summer 2025 cohort have closed, and the program has been completed. At this time further programs will not be offered.
 

Program dates are May 27 - June 23, 2025, and each member will be able to list a preference of either the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign or University of Illinois Chicago campus.
